Dr. Robert G. Biskeborn is a Distinguished Scientific in IBM Research – Almaden in San Jose, CA. His research currently is in new generation of database storage. We look forward to hearing his thoughts on the latest challenges in metrology in his talk: “Multichannel magnetic recording heads surface microscopy".
Dr. Park will be on hand to share his vision for the future of AFM technology for industrial nanometrology and the latest technological innovations from Park Systems.

Dr. Sang-il Park, Founder and CEO of Park Systems, was a graduate student of Applied Physics at Stanford University, working in the very group that invented the AFM. He then founded PSIA, later Park Systems in 2007, and developed the world's first commercial AFM in 1989. After 25 years of continuous growth and product innovation, Park has the longest history of AFM business in the industry.
